Rainfall from the initial outer bands of Tropical Storm Hanna have moved well to the north of the northern Shenandoah Valley and the metropolitan areas of Baltimore and Washington DC. Through 4 am...conditions will remain mostly dry. Additional outer bands from Tropical Storm Hanna will begin affecting the area around 5 am. These bands will contain very heavy rainfall and gusty winds. Rainfall amounts of around one inch an hour will be likely.
