the average monthly temperature for October in Tallahassee was 72.2 degrees... 3.1 degrees above normal. The highest temperature during the month was 94 degrees on the 7th and 9th. The 94 degrees on the 9th broke the previous record and another record was broken on the 10th with a reading of 93 degrees. Also... a record high was tied on the 29th with a temperature of 89 degrees. The lowest temperature during the month was 36 degrees on the 19th which tied the record low for that date. The high temperature of 60 degrees on the 17th set a new lowest maximum temperature for that day.
Rainfall at the Tallahassee Regional Airport for October measured 3.37 inches which was 0.12 inches above normal. The greatest amount in a 24-hour period was 1.15 inches on the 15th through 16th.
