regional weather discussion... thunderstorms will continue to develop and move across approximately the southern two-thirds of Oklahoma and western North Texas through 8 PM. The thunderstorms were mainly developing near a cold front and multiple outflow boundaries with the storms most numerous in central and southwest Oklahoma. The storms are moving east and southeast at 10 to 25 mph. Some of the storms will be severe producing large hail and strong winds. Very heavy rain... which may cause ponding on area roadways and low-lying areas... along with reduce visibilities... and frequent cloud to ground lightning will also occur with the storms. Additional storms may also develop further north over the next few hours. Some of these storms may also become severe. The chance for showers and thunderstorms will continue through the overnight hours across Oklahoma and western North Texas.
