Wind Advisory
Statement as of 2010年 02月 10日 04:29 EST
... Wind Advisory remains in effect until 9 PM EST this evening...
A Wind Advisory remains in effect until 9 PM EST this evening.
An area of low pressure off the Delmarva coast this morning will rapidly intensify today as it slowly lifts northeast off the New Jersey coast by this evening. As a result of this rapid strengthening... winds will increase dramatically this afternoon and continue into the evening hours with winds of 20 to 30 mph with gust 40 to 45 mph possible. Expect winds to decrease later this evening as the area of low pressure slowly moves east away from the coast.
Precautionary/preparedness actions...
A Wind Advisory means that winds of 35 mph or higher are expected. Winds this strong can make driving difficult... especially for high profile vehicles. Use extra caution.
