Special Weather Statement
Statement as of 2009年 11月 23日 22:25 EST
... Patchy dense fog across the area overnight into Tuesday morning...
Abundant low level moisture... dry air in the mid and upper levels of the atmosphere and little or no winds will create favorable conditions for areas of fog into Tuesday morning. Some of the fog will be locally dense... occasionally reducing visibilities to less than one quarter mile.
Should the dense fog become more widespread... than a dense fog advisory would be required.
If you are driving... slow down and use your low beam headlights or fog lights in areas of fog. Allow extra time to reach your destination... and leave plenty of distance between vehicles in case a sudden stop is needed. Be aware that visibilities will also fluctuate from one location to another... and can quickly drop in a short distance.
